Confiscation of Properties From Jayalalithaa And Sasikala Assets Case


Sasikala, Ilavarasi and Sudhakaran were arrested in the Bangalore jail. Former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa was included in this case and she was released from the penalty for not being alive.

On July 27 2014, in the case Bangalore court issued a judgement for jayalalithaa and others. our years in jail and Rs 100 crore in the case proceeded to be a property of Rs 66 crore 64 lakhs while she was in Cheif Minister of Tamilnadu

In this case judegment sentenced to 4 years prison and fined. Besides Jayalalithaa also involved in this case was ordered to seize 68 assets in 128 assets of Sasikala.
 
Accordingly, the Tamil Nadu government has issued an emergency order to seize 68 properties of them including Jayalalitha and Sasikala. 6 district collectors including Chennai, Kanchipuram and Tiruvallur.
 
Tamil Nadu Anti-Corruption Director wrote a letter to 6 district authorities to initiate the seize 68 assets.

Appeal

Jayalalithaa and others appealed against this judgment and appealed to the Karnataka High Court. Judge Kumarasamy who inquired the appeal and canceled the decision of the court on May 11 2015 and released Jayalalithaa and others.

Notification board

The revenue department will be notified by the Revenue Officers that all these assets are confiscated within a month and are owned by the Government of Tamil Nadu. No one can buy those assets.
